Adventist Health proudly hosted VIPink: Kern County’s Breast Event of the Year on Thursday, October 2, 2025, celebrating 12 years of “Memories and Milestones” at the AIS Cancer Center. More than 500 guests gathered for an inspiring evening featuring more than 30 wellness, health, and boutique vendors; complimentary B-12 injections; photo ops; and delicious treats from Mossman’s, Crumbl Cookie, and The Paleta Co. Throughout the night, guests enjoyed interactive experiences, including postcard writing for patients, a warm-up led by chair-yoga instructor Condy, and an empowering survivor fashion show.

Adventist Health leaders shared powerful insights about breast cancer care in our region, noting that 70% of women in Kern County choose Adventist Health for their breast cancer care, and that since the Breast Center opened in 2016, it has served more than 5,500 new patients — including more than 1,500 breast cancer patients — with more than 36,000 clinic visits completed. The evening honored first-year, five-year, ten-year, and long-term survivors, and highlighted the AIS Cancer Center’s all-female team of board-certified oncology and breast health providers. A touching patient story from the Garcia family reminded attendees that no one walks the cancer journey alone.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our generous sponsors — Valley Strong Credit Union, Tejon Ranch Company, and Kern Family Health Care — whose support made this uplifting and meaningful community event possible. Together, we continue to raise awareness, honor survivors, and provide compassionate, high-quality cancer care across the Central Valley.
